![]() This is because videos like these undercut the desired image that would be perpetrators are attempting to project. Personally, I believe that videos such as these (Randy Stair’s “Andrew Blaze Suicide Tapes” also come to mind) can actually serve as a deterrent, rather than a source of inspiration for future acts of violence. The Team chose to intentionally release this video without commentary on its utility. And it's always funny to hear people talking about the dark web as a resource for everything illegal as if it's a portal to another dimension and not just websites that are harder to reach. ![]() On a side note, I found it ironic they were planning the shooting for 2020, even if they wanted to do it and wouldn't get caught, the pandemic would have blocked them so they were bound to fail anyway. I'm pretty sure the basement tapes won't give us answers to how the shooters really were since we would only see how they wanted others to perceive them, but I think we would only see two stupid teens trying to act tough. ![]() I'm sure if we could see the tapes we would see that Eric and Dylan would look awkward and pathetic, but I wonder if they were also trying to act (with awful results) like these two here or if they actually believed they were godlike and all the other nonsense they talked about. I hope they will receive therapy and not only punishment for their actions. Also they kept repeating the same stuff over and over to each other, I wonder how committed they were to do the shooting they were planning to do. It almost felt like the two were trying to convince each other and didn't really believe in what they were saying, like when they were talking about how godlike they are, it felt to me they were just trying to sound like the columbine shooters, repeating what they said on the basement tapes.
